Yes, I read it. I found it mostly cute, although there were moments I did love. I certainly enjoyed it. If you want a little more detail, it's kind of a cross between an old-school treasure hunt kind of thing and a new technology world.
I'm good with cute. The Kindle sample definitely caught my attention. (Which might be a hilariously ironic statement, given what I think is the nature of the story.)
Dana, that sort of sounds like a bibliophile version of Ready Player One.
There are definitely some similarities to Ready Player One, but it's much less agressively, um....less nerd-culture oriented? It's like the difference between reading a book and playing a video game.
