Half the stuff on my Nook is novel-length fic. I love thinking, "I really want to read that scene where McKay says such and so," and I can flip to that fic.
I still have most of my fic on my Palm, but the longer stuff is more satisfying to read on a bigger screen--not so much button pushing.
Yeah, that's not a surprise, ita. I read FHtE last year, and was surprised that as much of the gay stuff survived editing as it did.
This may not be the right place, but were you aware of a team in the Quidditch World Cup?

Quick question....
My school is starting a Before School Book Club and we are hoping to buy books for our kids to keep. We need five titles. We're starting with Cold Kiss and then we'll read Shine. But I need three more titles.
Ideas?
Jo Walton's Among Others (which is a lot about reading groups and books - sci fi slant)
What about
How I Live Now
by Meg Rosoff, or Jay Asher's
Thirteen Reasons Why?
Maybe
Stardust
by Neil Gaiman? Oh, or
Jellicoe Road
by [author whose name I can't remember] or
Imaginary Girls
by Nova Ren Suma (which you should read anyway).
