Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

I don't know about the Kindle, but I can turn the Wireless off in my Nook Color -- would that be ok?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

the flight attendants aren't exactly consistent about it. that's why I don't bother. they want all electronic devices OFF - whether they have wireless radios or not.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

"As frequently as a book a month", which is not enough to make me rush out and buy a kindle. But interesting, yes, since the selection of e-books available through my library seems to be pretty paltry.

The status is NOT quo.

But still, yay! Drew has been waiting to borrow books from my kindle for ages. One a month total, though? Not so yay.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

And you have to have Amazon Prime. It is tempting, though.

One book a month ain't nothin' but a cocktease, IMHO.
