Cool. I knew somebody would snap it up and I hoped it would be a series instead of a movie. I was reading the sequel in the bookstore and it's very engaging.

Has anyone finished the sequel? I'm afraid to start it. I had some problems with the latter half of the first book and I want to know how the narrative structure of the 2nd is.

I haven't finished it. I do know that the reviews I've read indicate that this book is much more accomplished and assured structurally than the first one.

Now if that superhero novel by the other one gets optioned and names I love and can't resist become attached to it, please just stuff me in a box until the thing is out, closed, and shoved in the back of the DVD clearance racks.
