Well, it's just good to know that when the chips are down and things look grim you'll feed off the girl who loves you to save your own ass!

Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, your fit about it was why I reread it!

That which does not kill you should RUN

Teppy! Thank you so much for recommending Skulduggery Pleasant! I have burned through the first two and am currently geebling through the third. SO much fun!

Woo!!!!!

Tanith Low: MADE OF 100% AWESOME.

Also, I love China Sorrows more and more with every book. Even when I shouldn't.

Pix, you are gonna love the rest of them. Like Harry Potter, they get darker as the audience matures.

Oh my lord, yes. Really. I'm still not over the [spoilery] thing in the latest book.

I am waiting for my latest one to arrive with baited breath!

Man, I need it to get there so we can talk about the thing and the OTHER thing.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Yeah, your fit about it was why I reread it!

I vote we all reread Persuasion.

Because books.

I've never read Persuasion!

Did the Skullduggery Pleasant books start as / are they middle grade? I always mean to look for them, but I never stumble across them, and I think I'm looking in the wrong place.

I think they're YA. I got them from the library before I bought them, and ISTR them being YA. t edit I checked my library's Web site, and they are categorized as "Teen."

Because books.

I should look them up on Amazon and put them on my wishlist. Much easier. Thanks, Steph.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Now I have the third but not the second of the Hunger Games trilogy out from the library.

Liese, I've got a Nook copy of Catching Fire I could lend you if you don't want to wait.
