Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

ETA: Of course, this should appease the release date doubters, shouldn't it?

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Excellent essay, Erin.

Thanks, smonster!

Would you like me to comment there, Erin? And I would totally link that essay on fb, if you were ready for that.

Sure, sweetie! But only if you really wish to. I got het up and was all "Fuck it, this is relevant and timely to my business interests. And I'm PISSED."

I've got most things ok to be viewed, and since I've started posting stuff there, I'm good with traffic starting to trickle in pre-official launch date.

I have a few things to tweak after I'm done cleaning, but I'm...good.

I now return the thread to its regularly scheduled programming! Whoops. Forgive the mememe... And thanks for the positive

Does anyone know what time ebooks drop? The new Carey's release date is 6/29, and I'm rather impatient for it -- completist -- (and have a full day tomorrow) so I'm wanting to read it tonight.

I've waited up for books at midnight before, but I can't recall if they drop at midnight at a buyer's local time, or maybe ET? I'm hoping for ET, because then I can be asleep by 3 am.

And I don't want to keep refreshing. Although I would.

Oh, god, I am sick.

Hah--I was just wondering--I saw you post something about it and I hadn't realized it was even coming out--and it was in the bookstore I stopped in today with Drew. I thought books usually came out on Tuesdays like music? Huh.

I think you can get it at midnight as an ebook (if a kindle, amazon will auto-deliver if you buy now), but not sure if it's ET or local or what.

Thanks, meara! (Someone released it early to someone who's NOT ME -- GRUMP.)

Tuesdays ARE the usual drop date, but not always. Gail Carringer new book drops on Friday, for instance.
