Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

“Not dead yet!”

Just for fun, a self-pubbed author completely melting down in the comments to a review of her book. Awesome train wreck.

I just read this and oh, holy shit, what a hot mess this chick is. Someone fit her for a tinfoil hat, stat!

What a hot mess.

I wondered if it was a sockpuppet, but her Blogger profile seems the same, down to the uncomfortable English. I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt and wondered if she was ESL, but ... not so much.

Dunning-Kruger Effect strikes again!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Is she a teenager? But then, I know some teens who write and behave a hell of a lot better than she does.

Is she a teenager?

I don't think so. If you click on her name her Blogger profile comes up, with a brief bio.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Thank you for linking that blog. That made my afternoon.

Jacqueline Howett is cray-cray. I think I stood in line behind her in Trader Joe's last week. Or it was some other ranting woman. Hard to tell.

Because books.

It was way too good not to share.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I really liked Room, though I thought there was an inevitable lapse of tension once they escaped. Killer narrative voice, though.

Dana I was still really tense after because of the suicide attempt and to just see how Jack could possibly adjust.
