I liked the article a lot, except for learning that Trudeau is a Yankees fan. Ugh. Take a wonderful guy...
Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
When did the BD arc begin?
2004, was it? The date is the article. We had him getting hurt, recovering, fitting the leg, then the therapy. It's been a long trip.
Today seems to be read a book day . which I haven't done in a really long time . I got a copy of Nora's Morrigan's Cross, and I have to say I am really enjoying it. I like all the set up - and i like the well-it -is-there-but we-don't have -time for- that - now. Bizzarley, and I have no idea if it is my vampire eyes or just my buffistas eys , but I ssee it as a rather slashy book.
I remember the gut punch I felt when I realized B.D. had gone down.
Right? I was afraid at first that he was killed.
That's totally how I felt at the time. Trudeau's been willing to kill characters before (though generally they've been the older charcters).
Funny how stuff in comic strips can be so affecting. I still remember what a shock it was when they killed Farley the dog in FOR BETTER OR FOR WORSE.

I cried when Snoopy got taken to the vet to be fixed.
I looked away and said nothing, but then they came to take me to the vet to be fixed.
And there was nobody left to spay me.

Probably not as much as he did.
Looks like William Styron died.
I remember sending his book on depression to a friend when she was going through a hard time.
I got a phone call from Knut a little while ago. We're going to hang out this evening!
