Mal: You tell me right now, little Kaylee, you really think you can do this? Kaylee: Sure. Yeah. I think so. 'Sides, if I mess up, not like you'll be able to yell at me.

Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I think they would be books I'd very much enjoy but there's just so damn many of them, I wouldn't know where to begin.

I highly recommend his Tiffany Aching books, about a girl witch's education.

The first one The Wee Free Men is both very good and very, very funny.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

This strikes me as being about us.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Reading _Feed_ and every time Buffy is mentioned i picture a teenage Penelope Garcia. I just can't help it.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Ha! Seanan hasn't seen the show, but I showed her a picture, and she can totally see it.

There is a new picture book out called Spork. I'm thinking of getting it for my cousin's son.

Not ita, but you check out library books to Adobe Digital Editions, plug your Nook into your computer, DE recognizes the Nook, you copy your books to the Nook with drag and drop, and you can read them until they expire or, use DE to return them so you can check out more and delete the read ones from the Nook.

Deena, is that true only for the Nook or can you do the same thing with a Kindle?

You can't do that with the Kindle, but you can with the Sony, and, I think, the Kobo.
