I just found a little gem I never noticed before in Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone.
One morning in mid-December, Hogwarts woke to find itself covered in several feet of snow. The lake froze solid and the Weasley twins were punished for bewitching several snowballs so that they followed Quirrell around, bouncing off the back of his turban.
Unbeknownst to Fred & George, they were pelting Voldemort in the face!
Ha! Thanks for that, Laga! I had not noticed that before either!
An entire Harry Potter re-read is really in order, I just can never find the time. Or the motivation, really, as as much as I want to read them again, there are so many books I haven't read.
I have a tendency to do a re-read when there is a movie coming out. Even though I have Scott Pilgrim 6 and The Book Thief sitting here staring at me, I might start of Chamber of Secrets today.
sorry, my first two attempts at spoiler tag didn't work. *sigh*
When are we starting that "read the books you own" thing? In January? Because boy oh boy do I have to get through these stacks.

Well, that's when I'm starting.
Excellent. I'll ride on your stylish coattails.
Me three! Maybe that`ll give me time to LibraryThing it up before then and I can do it all organized like.
That's my thinking, too. My Library needs Thinging in a bad way. Though if I don't manage the organization part, I know I can rummage around once a month and find something I should have read by now (possibly simply by looking to see what is on my nightstand), so I will do the
reading
part regardless.
