Well, except for the last two.
Laga, I know that Justin Morgan's sire was said to be a thoroughbred - and if his dam was a "Dutch" horse. . does this mean that Morgans go back to Friesans?

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

I wasn't really horse crazy, but I did read Misty of Chincoteague and Stormy, Misty's Foal. I can't find my copies, sadly.
I will go off about the awesomeness of morgans with very little notice.
There's a reason that Almanzo Wilder's horses Prince and Lady were Morgans--he was a firm advocate of the breed.

Man, when I'm done reading All of a Kind Family with Sara, I really want to start on the Little House books. Whether she likes them or not, to be honest.
I've read Black Gold --I read everything by Henry in every library in reach--but I don't remember it. I always liked King of the Wind best.
Is Sara liking All of a Kind Family? We've been doing some Junie B. Jones, but I think next we need to do The Penderwicks, which was a gift and which I haven't read yet.
I loved All of Kind Family growing up.
She LOVES it, flea. She loves how different it is, and she likes Charlotte and Sarah the best, because Charlotte is her age, and Sarah for the name.
The dusting/button game fascinated her.
