Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
I think my final words will be, "I've only got four pages left to read in this book, then I'll be ready."
Hubby's last words will be "Well, the light's with me, so I'm crossing the street anyway, pedestrians have right of way."
If I live up to my Alabama roots, my last words will be "Watch me do this!"
You did live in Mallet, didn't you?
Perhaps my last words will be, "I am not too old for this."
I hope my last words are "Good night" and then POW, I die in my sleep.
When I am about 80.
But they will probably be something more like "God, will that bitch just SHUT UP!" as I crank in my hospital bed.
I'm thinking, "More, please!" might be good.
If I get a choice: "Gee, well I guess ten thousand years is not a bad run."
New Sara Gruen book is in! It's called Ape House if anyone is interested.
