Buffy: A Guide, but no water or food. So it leads me to the sacred place and then a week later it leads you to my bleached bones? Giles: Buffy, really. It takes more than a week to bleach bones.

Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

Because books.

The too-far-away book and furnishings porn makes me So. Sad.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

You can see some of the bookcases here.

I mentioned all the books are 70% off, right?

Seriously the owner is a major Holmes fanatic. They even have zines of Holmes fanfic. Bakerstreet Irregulars. All kinds of stuff.

move out and draw fire

I just poked around their website and found some stuff, but it's not nearly as nice as rummaging through a used book store.

I doubt they'd mail me those bookshelves anyway.

Who said I was helpful?

I think "taunty" is the word you're looking for.

It really is excellent for rummaging. Particularly with all the vintage movie magazines from 1916 through the fifties.

Plus they've got all these odd little bits and pieces stashed away on the shelves. Old pulp mags. Zines. Vintage photographs and postcards. Pretty much everything collectable on paper.
