[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

or subjects such employee to a penalty or reduction of wages because of the exercise of such privilege
reads to me like you can't deduct wages for time taken off to vote.
It doesn't read like paid to me either, at least for non-salaried workers.
Donkey voting sounds like Christmas tree-ing on tests --- you fill in the bubbles so it looks like rows of Christmas lights. I knew lots of kids who did that on almost every standardized test, although I guess you can't do that anymore.
I also knew a lot of students who lied on any kind of survey they gave in school about drug use and stuff like that, claiming to be 40 year old crack addicts and stuff like that.
Although, maybe the UK hasn't entirely gotten over it...slashfood also educated me about a Scotch Egg, which looks like the Everlasting Gobstopper of breakfast foods. It's a hard-boiled egg wrapped in sausage then rolled in breadcrumbs and deep-fried.
Mmm, Scotch eggs. Haven't had one in a while.
Talk about your heart attack on a plate!
Nah, just sort of savoury.
Often served cold, and sliced, instead of eating the whole thing, which you can do, but they're kinda filling.
JohnSweden, good to "see" you, Mr. Sporadic. Are you joining us in SF next month?
Cashmere and Deena babies on the same day!
::faints and is dead::
How do you wrap something in sausage?
I've just written the first draft of my "struggling student" narrative. Now if I can just write my technology piece, I can move on to the "edit the fuck out of it" stage.
How do you wrap something in sausage?
Raw un-encased un-enpattied sausage... it looks like hamburger meat.
Oh, what a cutiehead cake eater Owen is!
And Aidan's eyes are blue, blue, blue! He looks very engaged in egg-coloring. And so grown-up in his glasses.
Heartbreaker Buffista boys!

Hee, Mr. Sporadic is me, fair cop. I'd had been hanging on, hoping I'd be free to come to SF (I had a great time there last August, and a super visit with SFistas), but I'll be in Scotland that week. Sigh.
Raw un-encased un-enpattied sausage
I guess that makes sense. I was just having trouble envisioning it.
I don't know, though. Have they never heard of "wrapped in bacon"? That's pure evil, that is.
