'Serenity'

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Snuggles thread. Have been in bed with the cramps from hell for the last two days. I missed y'all. Seriously.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Just checked the archives. this was Natter's #30:

Natter 30: Piss off, Bitches!

Maybe we should think of a reciprocal response, for posterity...

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Get? GET? The flirting is a requirement, mister. Also possibly snuggling.

And you know what snuggling leads to...

Sweetie, we did get a king-sized bed, right?

t looks innocent

What is even happening?

Happy Birthday, ND!

Bitches of a Certain Age?
I adore this.

I think there was reciprocity at the time. I think we were gaining on Natter at one point, and the Natter thread name might have even been in response to ours.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Nora, thank goodness things turned out to be okay, because your description of the incident was nightmarish.

Yeah. It was totally like a nightmare, with that slow motion thing going and everything? But. Tonight was OK, and Tom and I were very social. Tom was very surprised at his sociability and I talked to an academic who wants to read my research paper and, like, distribute it to her students and stuff. She hasn't even read it. Could be a load if shite for all she knows. I guess networking pays. (or it won't pan out, that's fine too)

Hey Pete! You're going to meet the other recalcitrant British dude (my husband) at the F2F! He's lost his curmudgeonly edge though. Though, maybe, just with me?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on 13.

This one.

Happy Birthday, ND!!!

Today was good. We had a great meal with my family, went to see the nephews and then dragged Tal back to Mom's place so that we could spend some time with her. When we got home we loaded our cars with stuff to move tomorrow. So tired.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Fuck. How distracted am I? I totally forgot to say how scary that sounded, Nora. But I'm glad that it sounds like (from what I read upthread) that they're injuries that didn't force folks into the hospital. I hope?

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Happy Birthday, ND!

I am stuffed. And slightly tiddly. Spent a couple of very pleasant hours with teh daughter's BF's parents watching TV and mocking hairstyles, ate much yummy ham and potatoes, and Key Lime Pie!! Oh, yeah. Also, three glasses of Prosecco. I'm stuffed, but I think I said that already. Yeah.

Came home and dug out the receipt for my property taxes. I might get around to filling them out my tax forms tomorrow. Um. Otherwise, I can file an extension online.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

And you know what snuggling leads to...

Sweetie, we did get a king-sized bed, right?

bounces gleefully
