Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Andi, looking for a new job sucks but whoa you needed to leave there. Go you.

Epic, Oh I hope things turn out well! How scary.

Nordstrom's Michelle rocks hugely. She made a great call and should have the praise in her file.

When backing up your files, copy the new ones to the archive, not the archive over the new files. IJS.
ACK! I once had to write "Save early and often" on my monitor with a dry-erase cause I lost so much work. But saving archive over new is twenty times the pain. I hope there's a cache somewhere, Raq.

meara, areas with um ... good blood flow ... heal much faster than others when looking at piercings. So you've got options. But I am hella jealous of your occasionally braless ways.

"Mom, mom, cookies rhymes with nookies!"
Mmmm, nookies.

I made it to San Diego yesterday after missing my original flight. Had to go back to the airport today to plead - in person - for them to honor my return. Which the man nicely did after three other people jerked me around on the phone yesterday. So I actually get to go back to Portland now.

Tomorrow? Fun-filled family time. There are not enough tranquelizers in the world. However there will be a nephlet and a neicelet in attendence and that makes me quite pleased. And my sister's pregnant belly but I am not yet emotionally attached to the twins, so I'm pretty much just looking forward to seeing the already born ones.

I had a Christmas present I had to return because it didn't fit me. They didn't have a larger size. I looked around for other things to get but even though the shop was full of lots of interesting things, none were things I think were worth the money or things I jonesed for or needed. I went back today with gift card in hand to see if their stock had changed. I think I spent an hour looking around and finally realized that it wasn't going to get any better than this. So, in a rare shopping post for me, I bought these: [link]

move out and draw fire

Those are kickin' shoes.

Sigh. Not cached anywhere on my machine, because of course I went to look at my site to confirm that the file upload worked and thus over-wrote the cache.

And, while it should've been cached on R's machine, he apparently nuked his cache last night. I know he was having problems with the internet aspects of this course he's in, so I suspect we just had ourselves a Perfect Storm of Unrecoverable Stupidity Error.

I'm sorry to hear that, Raq. Data loss sucks. Years ago I lost a bunch of emails I'd gotten from Stanley Ralph Ross (creator and one of the writers of the Batman TV series). I still regret that. He never wrote back and I'd lost his email address.

Fuck ity fuck ity fuck.

Just darn.

I just Sex Bombed in a deep tub and, while I am usually not a fan of rose [ufG* cause it's mostly jasmine and ylang ylang (which just sounds dirty) and barely any rose at all which explains a lot] fragrances, I am sweet smelling and quite relaxed from the bath. I am going to try and read and go to sleep soon. Then I am going to chisel the bath out of this place and see if I can check it as luggage when I go home. Was lovely.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

(((ChiKat))) What a sucky, sucky thing! But how utterly Michelle rocks! Go team Michelle!

Askye, your uncle sounds utterly horrendous. Sorry about that, love.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

{{{{{{{{Epic}}}}}}}} giving you plenty so you can share with Terri and her family.

Raq, y'all have my sympathies on the loss of the writing.

Everyone who needs it, Harvey is purring up a storm here between my arms as I type - there's enough purr-vibes for me and half the board, I figure.

Windsparrow! You da bomb! I mean, it sucks that you have to do the jobhunt thing, but I'm awed at you for putting your foot down like that. Bloody well done. Life is too short.
