Lindsey: Why--why did you... Lorne: One last job. You're not part of the solution, Lindsey. You never will be. Lindsey: You kill me? A flunky?! I'm not just...Angel...kills me. You...Angel... Lorne: Good night, folks.

'Not Fade Away'

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

That's not right. They shouldn't mess with morning shows. Mornings are hard enough without all that dirty change.

Or they should do it with some warning like the Today Show which is very curteously giving me a month to get over my daily dose of Couric hate.

What is even happening?

I am waiting 'til the storm passes. We are going out tonight too, so I have to. I think I win.

I'm getting the pig!

Speaking of showers, I think I need a cold one.

But, hey! I got my midterm back last night (A) and I only have 2 more classes and finals. Woot!

Yay, Chikat!

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

I am in the not-showered camp. I'm getting over a cold and have been told sternly (though without the use of a bullwhip) to rest today. I'm trying very hard to comply. Shower and food are sounding better and better, though.

Also, go ChiKat!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Aw, thanks, y'all. Of course, because of this class, I spent all night diagramming sentences in my dream. My dreams often suck.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Kristin, don't *make* me force you to rest.

Hell, I don't have to, because I *know* you want to, don't you? That's a good girl.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

This just in: I would kill for a Cadbury Egg.

Kill.

With blood and rhetoric and/or love and stuff.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I'm eating Whoppers Robin Eggs right now ATFG!!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Kristin, don't *make* me force you to rest.

I don't know -- IMO a shower and food don't really violate the order to rest, both being soothing, stupor-inducing activities and all. I think you're just getting high on domination.

::breathes garlic eggplant on Cindy::

Jilli and Aimée dress search of the day:

Black eyelet taffeta dress, lined in pale pink – a little bit small for Jilli or Aimee but I’m posting it anyway in case anyone’s feeling ambitious.

Insanely pricey but sumptuous ‘40s black velvet dress, bust 42, waist 33.

Not at all a Jilli dress, but possibly an Aimée dress, good size, and painfully cute.

Black and red dress, 44 bust, 32-34 waist, and it would look smashing with one of those waist cinchers Jilli has been cooing over.

Black chiffon, 42 bust, 34 waist, SO PRETTY.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I have Cadbury eggs. They're supposed to be for my sister's easter basket, though.

I also have carmel eggs made from goat's milk, I'm sorry, leche de cabra, because how could I not?
