[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Are we SOL if we haven't done so yet, or are Vegas musicals in big giant amphitheatre-type things with seats for kajillions?
I don't know if it's been selling out or not, but I do know that the producers moved the show to Vegas instead of taking it on tour specifically because they did not want it to be performed in a ginormous amphtitheatre-type thing (as most on-tour theatres tend to be). The theatre will be medium-sized.

Let's see if we can get tickets for the same show, Jacqueline. Make life easy.
Oops, nope! We have 10PM tickets.
ETA: Squee! There are still seats available for the 10PM that night if you want to come with us!
I have completed and transmitted my taxes to both federal and state.
I get refunds from both.
Oops, nope! We have 10PM tickets.
Well okay, then, let's do that.

Really, taking a step back here--how unlikely was this? I love being a Buffista sometimes.
Got 'em. Balcony center, seats 110 and 111. Which is incredibly irresponsible what with the looming tax fuckup, but when else are we ever going to get to spend a weekend at the Bellagio and see Avenue Q at all, let alone with another pair of Buffistas on the kilted one's birthday? Answer: Never. I'm fairly certain this qualifies as one of those not-financially-wise acts that I'd regret prudently refraining from much, much more than I'll regret committing.

YAY!

I'm very excited, and I completely agree with your financial philosophy. ND decided he wanted to spend a little of the money he's been earning with his crazy work schedule the last six weeks, and though I'm nervous about my own financial situation, I'm so glad we're going. We really needed the vacation.
t also petting NOLA and SF corsets for the same reasons as JZ

This is much like my financial philosophy. I'm so cheap that I'll buy store brand soda instead of real pepsi, but I'll blow lotsa bucks on fun and frivolity. Sense making to me.
