Gud, I know that on one occasion when my daughter was really little (like 3 or 4) he had to take her in the men's room, but it was a production. He felt he needed to let the guys know he was coming in with a little girl, covered her eyes, plus he had huge issues with letting her sit on the seat. I think that at 6 or 7 she was OK by herself. Plus amych gives some good advice, a dry-run, so to speak, might be the ticket. YKidMV

He did just that. He was very glad when she got old enough to go into the ladies room by herself. Of course, until this year, I would take David in with me beacuse of the same issues. Now he won't set foot inside the ladies room because it's a "girl's room...ewwww"
