That's my girl, large and in-charge. Okay, teensy-weensy and in charge.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

It is a very mysterious conversation, isn't it? Not to worry -- I was just attempting to trade favors for someone else to write my self-evaluation for my capstone portfolio, but they were having none of it. Curses! Foiled again!

It was an interesting offer, though, Emily.

Emily can be quite creative, I believe.

Thrive to spite them

My partially sucked because I realized when I was getting groceries (and saw the appt card) my therapy appt was today and not April 14 like I had it drilled into my brain. I swear my therapist is going to drop me I'm such a flake. And it cost me $100 for the missed appt (and there's no way she'd waive it not with as many times as I'd flake).

However, I did have doctor's appointment and confirmed that I have carpel tunnel syndrome. Well, there's a slight chance it's tendonitis. But I need to start taking B viatmins, wear a splint at night and maybe during the day and use heat and ice when it hurts. I have to buy a heat pack thing.

Also, got blood taken for lots of tests -- cholesteral (which I can't spell), liver funciton, and hormones to see if I might have PCOS.

When I was waiting to get my blood taken there were two moms with kids. One Mom had five very very well behaved kids. The other mom's girls were doing work, the older girl (maybe 5 or 6 I can't judge kids' ages) was doing a math work book and her mom kept correcting the way she made numbers, which was fine until the girl started making zeros.

Then the mom corrects her and tells her she needs to start the zero going the other way and told her that you write zeros and o's going the opposite way -- one is right to left and the other left to right. I can't remember which directions it was supposed to be. The mom even said "I know it's confusing."

I'd never heard of writing zeros and o's separate ways, is that right or is it Insane Troll Logic?

Except, alas, not in the writing way.

Trust my rage

My husband always writes zeroes with a slash through them. I've never heard of going a different direction, though.

You mean you don't?! Good lord, you're going to bring about the end of the world! If you don't write zeros and o's separate ways, a rift between dimensions opens up, and horrible demons will rampage across the earth ...

Yep, Insane Troll Logic. I've never heard of writing zeros and o's differently.

Meh - I'm working on Finance Math stuff right now. I wish you were here, Emily.
