Mal: How drunk was I last night? Jayne: Well I dunno. I passed out.

'Our Mrs. Reynolds'

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

(And yet, I'm still contemplating waking up an hour early so I can go to the gym in the mornings. Am I crazy?)

This is what I need to do and with a gym at work I really have no good excuse not to, other than that I am very, very not a morning person, caffinated or not.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I want to get this for Owen. He's not ready for a big kid swing set yet. This would be awesome for this summer.

What is even happening?

Little Tikes stuff lasts forever too, Cashmere. After the apocalypse, there'll be cockroaches and Keith Richards, and they'll be living in Little Tikes Cozy Cottages, and driving around in Little Tikes cars.

I'm getting the pig!

Any little kid would *love* that set, Cash, and it looks like it's in real good condition. How much does something like that cost new? Is $50 an excellent price?

My Aunt T just called. She needed me to look up some directions for her because she got totally turned around and lost due to paying too much attention to a song on the radio. She's back on the right track now but anyone want to guess what song she got lost to?

.............

Lose Yourself by Eminem.

You need him to cut a song called, "Remember your favorite niece Nicole--fondly--in your will."

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

We're still friends, and she has her own life. And hey, it's a lot easier to be magnanimous when you've moved on too.
Friends, check. Own life, grudgingly check. Moved on, ah. Yes, we've skipped a step somewhere. Life happens and we're often the others first call. It wasn't the plan and occasionally we do remember that it's outside the new and improved rules of life. And sometimes we don't. It's all good on paper of course.

Pretty and warm fire going. I think I sleep now for a bit.
