Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Why didn't anybody tell me becoming a teacher was going to be this much work?

Not that I would have listened, or that it would have changed anything. But sheesh, people. Enough with the pointless paperwork! (I know, it's good training, right?)

Our wings are not tired.

Awww Doooooomed. And who can blame ya?

Sorry Emily. Perhaps knowing about the pointless paperwork has kept me away from teaching. Um, take the good with the bad? Your students are so very lucky that you made the decision to be their teacher despite the burdensome work load.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

So, what does one wear to a belly dancing class?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Comfortable clothes.

We've got a terrible snot monster who seems to have invaded Owen's nose. It's a nastier version than usual. Just in time for his birthday on Tuesday. Feh.

What kind of shoes, do you think? Tennis shoes, or something that doesn't grip?

That's an excellent question. Personally, I'd guess bare feet would be best--but I have no idea.

Yeah, I think I'l go with tennis shoes with socks, so that I can go sock-footed if need be.

Being a math teacher means that you will be able to work just about anywhere. Here in Nova Scotia, schools are desperate for math teachers.

well , the no energy day yesterday - stomach virus that I have been fighting since thursday( that's how long it has been). I have a lot more energy this morning , even though I am far from well. Even though I don't feel great, I feel better knowing there really was somethign wrong yesterday.
