Anyone around who's a crack hand with photoediting? I have a pic I want to use for an icon, but there are some weird lighting and shadow issues that I'm hoping someone not me can clean up.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yay! Let me know if I can help with anything.

Well, since you asked. How do I upload photos into Yahoo instead of the kodak thing?

I'm getting the pig!

Anyone around who's a crack hand with photoediting?

I wish! Sorry I can't be of any help.

How do I upload photos into Yahoo instead of the kodak thing?

You have to let the camera upload to Kodak first and then pull the pics from the Kodak file on your hard drive into Yahoo. At least, that's the way I do it.

I can't figure out how to do this second part.

I figured it out. Since I can't yet get into my new apartment and I wanted to play with the camera, everyone gets to see the mess I am making packing up my current place here.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

And that juliana is hotter than hot.

Oh, I TOTALLY knew that.

Go Nora with your paper writing! Oh, did you see my comment on your LJ about statistics? I bought a Algebra for Dummies Workbook, which seems pretty good, to prepare for the placement test. Never thought I'd buy a Dummies book cause I hate the "dummies" aspect but I poked around Amazon and this one had the best reviews and seemed like a good one.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

is Perkins posting as Susi?

I am almost at 10 pages GO ME!

I did see the statistics-related lj post, GC, I just haven't had the mental space to process it. After this damn paper is out of my life then I am going to think about zee summer school. I have to laugh though, we have no less than 4 or 5 "...For Dummies" books in our homes, pertaining to home repair, home improvement, gardening, and caring for greyhounds. We are all over admitting our dummy-ness.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I had a nice long post almost finished and my mouse died and I had to reboot. It strikes me now, after I have done this, that I could have finished the post and posted with the keyboard, but unfortunately, I didn't think of that earlier.

Plus, all this tax talk is reminding me that I have to do my taxes. Blah. I'm fairly confident that I will owe, so there is some excuse for delaying, but I probably would delay even if I were getting a refund. If I get my taxes done and a little bit of cleaning, I shall reward myself with going outside in the sunshine. I may actually reward myself first, because the sunshine may go away.

So, last night, I watched the movie Luther, with Joseph Fiennes. It was partially funded by some Lutheran pension fund, and I wonder if they had any impact on the content, because even though the costumes were nice, it was a bit of a snoozefest. Except for the HoYay. But I was in a bit of a mood, so I may have been reading the dull, inappropriate funny, and HoYay into things.

Also, pomegranate lemonade sounds absolutely delicious and I may have to have some.

Yeah on the yarn, vw! Yarn shopping is one of my favorite things, and doing things with the fun yarn is another. I hope you get much pleasure from the yarn, start to end.

Lo, these many, well, I think the day before yesterday, TypoBoy posted a most beautimus picture, which I absolutely loved. Thanks for sharing!
