I had a lovely afternoon. Of course, now I’m sitting here in tears, but I really did have a lovely afternoon.

I think mindless tv and a bubble bath are in order.
That sounds lovely. Except no appropriate bathtub for a bubble bath. So, we'll hold on to that till September.

Calling All Sewers!!!
I want to start sewing--mainly clothes and home decor stuff. I would love recommendations for a good book for a beginning sewer. I had Home Ec in middle school, but not so much since then. I understand the very basics of patterns, and I can do some mean hand-sewing (hems, buttons), but that's about it.
Any suggestions??
