Do I wish I was somebody else right now. Somebody not... married, not madly in love with a beautiful woman who can kill me with her pinkie!

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

vw, you have plenty to be livid about. This may be totally off the wall for you, but as long as you don't act inappropriately, it might be kind of nice to be livid for a while. It sounds so cliche, but punching pillows can actually be helpful.

Or, if this isn't helpful, then feel free to ignore and instead follow your therapist's advice, which is probably much better.

hugs.

Hooray for Deena!

Going way back to the talk about Katie Couric, I was catching the Today Show fairly regularly right after Jane Pauley left and they were looking for replacements. Deborah Norville took over for a while and was a complete piece of fluff, especially when talking to people who were actually newsworthy and not just pr-value. Then Katie Couric popped up for her temp gig, and it was night and day. Katie stared down some weaseling politico and made him admit he didn't want to answer her question. I realized that I was watching someone who could do the job. I blame NBC for her current fluff-levels. Once upon a time, she walked the walk.

And I completely forgot to squeeeeeeeeee with Deena. Yeah for being in new house and, most importantly, for being online again!

Deena, is your new phone hooked up yet? I just called and it went right to voicemail.

Always Anti-fascist!

Poor bug's life is beginning to look like a "House" teaser, Epic. But I'll restrain myself from offering a differential, just yet. Unless...vw, have you snogged anyone lately? Because that show really seems to believe we have cooties. For real. All those cute people, and yet I finish most episodes grateful for the shags I haven't, well, shagged.

Mostly lurking...

No shagging lately here. Maybe that's part of my problem. Hee!

It's only quarter after the hour. If you offered a diagnosis now, it'd just be wrong anyway.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Hmmm... now that is an RPF I might actually write.

Yay, Deena and Family!!

vw, I hope the steroids do their job on your breathing and nothing else (well, unless they're supposed to, in which case, OK... but none of the bad stuff.)
