Hey, if it means I don't have to read any more, woo and, might I add, a big hoo.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Mostly lurking...

I have to say that I actually enjoy the fluff. It's one of the reasons I've turned on the tv the past couple of mornings. I can get the basic news, although, not in great detail (which to be perfectly honest, I don't need right now), and have some morning fluff. It adds to some knowledge of things going on in the world and takes my mind off my world for a while.

Now, I have learned, though, that I have to turn off the tv between 9 and 10 am. That Kelly (Regis and Kelly) is more than I can handle. While talking to my therapist last night, she was shocked that I had actually watched Regis and Kelly, and I didn't have anything nice to say about it. Finally, she said, "I think we're both getting a bit judgemental here. Maybe we need to go back to the facts." To which I responded, "Ok. Just the facts. I find Kelly Rippa to be one of the most annoying people on the planet. The tv would be a much better place without her." My therapist laughed and laughed, and said that I'm not allowed to watch anymore. Actually, what she said was, "Do we need to track this on your diary card? 'Cause I can make you."

Now tagless for your comfort.

My aunt has vertigo, takes Antivert, and it does help. I hope your m-i-l's treatment works, too.

I took Antivert for stress related vertigo. It does work very well.

I don't think Katie is anchor material, either. I think she's spent too much time as Perky!MorningTV show person that I couldn't relate to her with "hard" news.

But like I would know anything, considering I get the majority of my tv news on The Daily Show.

Olivia slept well last night and I got plenty of sleep, too. Owen's new bedtime routine includes about 5 or 6 readings of Good Night, Moon but at least he's going down awake in his crib, falling asleep on his own AND staying asleep until morning. Could be much worse.

Stephanie, I got about a BILLION compliments on the outfit you sent for Olivia. We went out to lunch with friends on Monday and they just ate her up in it. That's going to be her Easter outfit when we take the kids to Nana's house.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Cindy, are you around? I had a dream last night that you and I were hanging out with Bill Clinton. No, really. It was taking place now, more or less (meaning, he had been president for 8 years, and was no longer pres.), and we were hanging out in, like, a Bennigan's, and drinking beer. I think we were in L.A. It wasn't like the *actual* L.A., but in the dream I knew it was L.A.

Weird.

Happy birthday, AmyLiz!

Did we all know that Alton Brown is getting a new show on the Food Network starting in July?

"Feasting on Asphalt," which features Brown driving across the country by motorcycle to take a look at food on the American road today. It premieres at 9 p.m. July 19.

I'm getting the pig!

Birthday Happies, AmyLiz!

Saw a bumpersticker today that had a picture of Bush crossed out and the saying, "Don't blame me. I didn't vote." WTF? This is something you're *proud* of? Being a major part of the problem is a good thing, now??

I didn't ram the guy's car, but I really wanted to.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

So, nobody else is psyched about the WeeSisterJay thing? Huh. Guess that's fair enough, but I'm all kinds of excited, with a teensy weensy barely-there edge of nervous.

I hate that attitude.

I'm sorry, Fay. I completely forgot to post, but WeeSisterJay's job offer is very cool.
