Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Happy Birthday, Stephanie!
I'm a big bundle of gronk today. I'm short on sleep, calories, temper, and just plain short. I'm going to have to find things to do that don't require interacting with other people today. ::looks at calendar:: Oh, goody -- two solo hours at the reference desk talking to patrons to start my day.
My allergy test revealed that I am allergic to grass, mold, dust mites, feathers, wool, silk, newsprint, cotton linters (cotton stuffing material), cats, dogs and assorted other pollens. I had allergy shots in my teens and they did help, but I've pretty much lived on antihistamines since I was about 15. It helped to know to stay away from things like cotton stuffing, which wouldn't have occurred to me, and I do the whole mattress cover, pillow covers and washing bedding with hot water thing for dust mites. I was apparently genetically created to survive on a space station.
From an article on Katie Curic:
She agreed to a salary near her current range of $13 million to $15 million for five years...
Um...if $13 million is so close to $15 million, I'm happy take that $2 million off her hands.
New allergies suck, vw. My dad developed grass and cat allergies when he was 50ish, and every time he came over Puck (rest his vicious little soul) made him miserable.
Um...if $13 million is so close to $15 million, I'm happy take that $2 million off her hands.
Thumb wrestle you for it.
My SIL says that it snowed in Baltimore today! For, like, 8 minutes.
I'm gonna kill my mom.
She needs a blood test. She has decided not to wait for me to get home to take her. She is taking herself over to the hospital to get it done. She sounds so damn out of breath from just coming downstairs, I can't see her driving and walking to the lab, getting the test, walking back and driving home.
Who wants to take bets on whether they see the shape she is in and try to admit her again.
That's must be hard on your nerves, Suzi. Can you convince her to take a cab, at least?
Suzi, write this stuff down on a piece of paper, with a reminder that you *will not* do this kind of stuff to K-Bug.
Unfortunately, that may be all you can do right now. Sorry, hon.
Allergies hit me maybe once every three years or so. I guess whatever I'm allergic to here in Colorado doesn't have the opportunity to bloom each and every year. But I'm VERY thankful that that seems to be my only issue with allergies. For now, anyway.
Gorgeous day here today. Thinking of taking a nice walk at lunch. I wonder if I need to put on sunscreen...
I'd accuse you of being a taunter, Nicole, except...well, I just might join you on that walk. We're expecting a high of 60 today, whee! It's finally starting to feel like spring around here.
