The picture and sound on basic cable is crap.
My diamond shoes are WAY too tight.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Try taking one of the shoes off and banging on the cable box with it.
There is no box. It goes straight into the tv. This way it's only $7.95 a month.
Yes, we have gotten very, very cheap.
My diamond shoes are WAY too tight.
Honey, those aren't diamond shoes. That sparkly stuff? Glass. Cheap glass, even. Recycled glass from soda bottles that were found in the dump.
Basic cable complaints do not equal diamond shoes. Basic cable complaints (especially on a board of tv addicts) are closer to not having a root to gnaw on. You go ahead and complain all you like. When you have 8 billion channels and you whine that you've already seen *everything* that's on, well, that's a different story.
Oh, good to know!
vw, it may just be that a cable is loose. We just removed and returned our boxes too (for the same reasons) and went to basic (although they didn't pick ours up, I had to drive too, and worse--IN--frigging Arlington). After, our reception wasn't as good, but we just had some stuff too loose.
Ah, I'll have to jiggle it when Tim McGraw is no longer on the tv. Don't want to lose him...even if the picture isn't great.
That sucks that you had to drive to Arlington! That's practically by me. Apparently, they had to come do a switch of a cable, so I just gave the guy the box. It said on the sheet that I was returning it, but I was like, "DUDE! You're here! Take it with you!" And he did.
Yeah, RCN is a ways down Mass. Ave, which I haven't driven in years and years, and never drove much. I hate Mass. Ave. At least it wasn't Cambridge.
At least it wasn't Cambridge.
Awwww...but, Cambridge is so, Cambridge.
I hope nobody took that the wrong way, especially vw. I'ma have to blame the heat for my weirdness this afternoon.
It's over 70 degrees outside and it's weirding me out. I guess I'll be switching out the wardrobe this weekend to spring/summer clothes.
