And I'm pissed at my doctor for making this kind of decision without my knowledge or consent or even telling me what our options are.

absolutely. But consider the possibility that he scheduled the test so that she could have it as soon as possible IF you decided to go through with it. It is entirely possible that he is going to call you like he said, and the scheduler didn't realize the situation. But, be prepared to bitch slap if I'm wrong.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I just called a woman who has done some travel planning for me in the past to see if she could get me a good flight to SF. She is going to get back to me in a couple of days. The flights online right now are way too high.

I've swallowed some Midol and choked on my hot tea. After such exciting events, it's hard to believe that I still desperately wish I were in my bed.

I am just happy she is a nice woman, because she is willing to look, even though I told her I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to book it or not.

I found a flight to SF for the F2F weekend for $218. Woot! It flies out of Dayton, but that's okay with me; in fact, there are many many MANY things I prefer about flying out of Dayton vs. Cincinnati. And it's only a 45-minute drive for me.

Now I just need to, you know, book the flight.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Deena's moving this week, right? So there wouldn't be any way of reaching her by telephone? I can't remember if she has a mobile number. If anyone here has a number where she can be reached can they email me at my profile addy?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yup, I found Chicago/San Jose for $224. Works for me.

When in the upper-GI scheduled for?

Well, I'm going to be there regardless of when I book my ticket. But I like to mull these things over. I'm not sure why.
