This is not funny. This... this is a morality tale about the evils of sake.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I was there Hec. Just got home. I NEVER leave a game early. But between the score, a coughing CJ, and intermitent sprinkles, it was time to go.

Mostly lurking...

Awww...I mean, I'm glad you got to go, 'cause I know how much you were looking forward to it. But, it's too bad you had to leave early. Hope CJ feels better soon.

We're getting a good Spring rain here. Ahhh...Spring rain...such a good smell. Wish it would warm up a bit so I could open the window. Of course, this means Toto will be crabby when we walk. He's not so much with liking the rain.

Today is a very busy day. I will head out to school, probably around 10 or so, to start working my way up the food chain of Financial Aid. That should be fun and stressful. Then I'm going to stop by work, hand over my projects, and give my boss his baby present. Hopefully there will be lots of people there so I can say goodbye. I'm gonna miss them. So, that'll be so-so stressful. Then I've got therapy. Yippy! Long day! Hopefully the episodes will behave so I can get all of this done.

Mom meets with the surgeon today. If you can spare any vibes, send them her way. I'm not so worried, though, because she has two of her best friends going with her to the appointment. I'm sure between the three of them they're going to get lots of questions answered. Mom talked to my SIL's dad, who is an OB/GYN, and he said not to worry to much yet...he doesn't put a lot of stock into mammograms these days. So, I've got some hope. Still stressed, but hopeful.

Also, I'm so glad that she's got good friends. There was a long time, when we were in the Freak Ass Churches, that mom really didn't have friends. It must have been very lonely. It's good to see her so much happier now.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I hope you have a good visit at your workplace, vw, and that things work out with the Financial Aid visits. I hope they understand that you're having to withdraw, etc. for reasons that are totally beyond your control.

ION, I was without power for a bit thanks to the big storms that rolled through here Sunday, so I skip'n'skimmed the last three hundred or so posts.

Vibes for you and yours, vw.

Hi there, Anne.

Our wings are not tired.

Ick storms bad. I'm going to be in St. Louis next week. Never been there before. Brendon and I arrive before noon on Sunday the 9th and I leave Tuesday morning early. So whatcha doin?

Big day vw. Try and rest a bit between things if possible. Vibing for your mom.

I caught up on more than a thousand posts yesterday. Primarily I'm remembering to spit in the general direction of Hec's former employers. Unbelievable. You will find much, much better... with good people you enjoy. I know it.

There was also some good carrot talk. Awww. Carrots.

vw - good health vibes to your mother. Also good vibes for dealing with a full-up day for you. And retroactive hoping for good, meaty results from the Digi-Trace monitoring. That sounded un-fun, but now that it's done, may the results be helpful.

I'm going in this morning for my set-up appt. with the radiologist. Should be fairly low-key. And this means no more chemo for the next couple of months.

As far as I know, I have no plans Sunday afternoon or Monday evening. We should touch base later on - profile addy is good.

And now, I am off to work, where I have no access to b.org or my personal email. Boo.

Good to see you Jen. And hoping to see you next month in SF for real hugs. Do you have a decent bunch of doctors? The attitude of the doctors and their staff makes such a difference. Also, arrrrr.

Ok, why am I so excited for the radiology appt for you, JenP? Oh, right. From what I have seen, s'not quite so unpleasant a treatment as the chemo. Vibing for you, too.
