Yup, I'm back home, Nicole. We had an absolutely lovely and hilarious wake for my aunt. Many stories, tall and short, were told and we now have new family catchphrases that will live in infamy. Particularly one that has to do with cutting clothes off of a family member. I'll leave it up to your imagination. Hee. Actually, it was all about girlish competition over ankle socks, of all things. But, while the technique has never yet been duplicated, the threat has been used quite effectively in other parts of the family over other items of clothing. Now, that's a legacy to live up to!
Well, for me, Suzi, I could never get enough SuziQs. So, I guess I'm saying there will never be enough of you to go around and satisfy us all. ;P
I get Deborah sometimes. I guess it has the same key sounds - the d, thr r, the b - but it's still kind of odd.
Yay for the name change, SuziQ! I like it.
People are always leaving the 'h' off of my first name.
Teacup Guy was supposed to be here at around 12 to watch the pre-game stuff for the first regular game of the Red Sox season. I rushed home from my doctor's appointment, and he is still not here.
Darlin Nikki, you still around?
Ack!! That song by Prince is my main squick with being called Nikki. It brings flashbacks to rollerskating and Garrett the Parrot and Richie following me around the rink singing it to me. Loudly. They'd request the song just to torture me with it. Aaaaaaah!
SuziQ sounds like a sweet name but she's EEEEEVVVVIIIIILLLL!
you can sleep in the dog kennel in May.
However, let me be clear, Suzi being evil contributes greatly to why we get along so well.
::smooches SuziQ::
My real name is Nadine, and I get Renee all the time. (with a small helping of Natalie).

Welcome home! I'm glad it was more enjoyable with a hint of sadness than sad with a hint of joy. Exactly the way it should be for a loved one that lived a long life. Still, {{{Sail}}}. Oh. One other thing, do you have a cell phone yet?

Have fun! As soon as D arrives, that is. I swear, half of the building just left for Opening Day, here.

yeah, but a totally different order!
do you have a cell phone yet?
No, and I really should get one. Once I figure out my income tax (yes, I'm a tax slacker and proud of it), I'll take some of it and look into plans.
My real name is 5 letters and I'm lucky if anyone ever hears it right. I get Helen at every resteraunt when I leave a name and sometimes even Allen. Those are the people I want to kick.
I respect anyone who attempts my last name. The people who say, "Ginger Uh Uh," are pronunciation wusses. Oddly, a number of people remember my name as Kathy. Two syllables? I somehow look like a Kathy?
