Well, look who just popped open a fresh can of venom.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

No, I think it's all me at this point. Sadly, that is the one person not up to the challenge.

OK, I've whinged here, on Natter, and in LJ. I think my work here is done. I'm going to try to get some good sleep tonight, get up nice and early tomorrow, make a fresh start, and get some good work done.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I was tired last night around midnight. So I went to bed. And couldn't sleep. Took half an Ambien. Couldn't sleep. Put relaxing music on. Couldn't sleep. Read for a while. Couldn't sleep. An hour and a half later, I gave up.

Got up. Went out to the couch, watched something scientifically educational for all of maybe five minutes before I fell fast asleep.

Woke up at 8 feeling awake but still a little off. And went back to sleep until 1. Huh? Kittenish snuggled with me nearly the whole time which she hasn't done in a while. So that was good too.

I think I may be getting more pissed off by the moment.
I am furious for you, vw. Not!Emily is an ass.

Glad you are electrode-free now.

Also, he hasn't paid his rent yet.
Rent! I went to pay my rent the other day and then the Espy (Howler kitty) stuff happened and we forgot. Must go do that today.
I still have no idea how to get to and from my apartment and how to get to important things like the market, the liquor store, the coffee shop etc.
I still haven't found the liquor store here. Damn the state regulated booze.

And yay new apt, sj!

I'm having a dandruff issue. Only, it's not dandruff; it's gauze. Very, very annoying.

  • Paid rent
  • Did dishes
  • Started load of laundry I soaked overnight
  • Took care of cats
  • Dusted
  • Sneezed after dusting

What I really need to do is take pictures of the broken glassware and then take it to the trash. I am totally putting it off though. I need a motivator.

I was going to give myself a cookie but I don't have any cookies. I am hoping that shame (by admitting I haven't done it yet) will suffice.

eta: Shame, she works. Photographs have been taken and the shattered remnents were thrown away. It was exactly as upsetting as I expected.

Next I need to borrow or buy a scale so I can weigh the larger damaged stuff. But that won't be today.

Can you shower yet, vw? Or did the guaze come off but the electrodes are still there?

Art Crawl!!!

sj, I'm glad that there isn't anything odd about the Tenant at Will thing.

Well, while I was watching coverage of the Florida Derby, there was a HUGE crash.

The globe thing that covers the kitchen light had fallen and like BURST. There was glass all over the kitchen. Scary. I'm just glad it happened while there was nobody in that room.

The electrodes came off -- in fact the gauze came off too, but little bits of it tore off when we removed the stuff.

So we have a sort of post-mummified bug? It's evil that I want pictures, I know.

They would just look like normal me.

Back from seeing Thanks for Smoking. That was a great movie. And it was good to get out of the house.

Oh, but just after I got home, Not!Emily's Dad and brother came over (the whole reason he wanted things taken care of). His dad asked how he is as a roommate. What the fuck are you supposed to say to that? "I'm sorry. Today's really not a good day to ask."

Fortunately, he caught me in a good mood, so I was nice.
