More fun than one dad can stand, I think.
I was fine at the time, but I felt freakin' traumatized all weekend. I just felt like the adrenaline levels wouldn't come down. Yeesh.
This seems to be not so bad after all. He's busy playing Ms. Pac-Man now.
::does some deep breathing exercises::
Basta this too.
Aw, poor Emmett
Poor Hecubus.
(gives car door very dirty look)
I'm watching my A's on tv AIFG.

Are they winning? Winning is good.
Whoa, Hec. My best to Emmett. Getting ice on that thing was a great move and makes all the difference. I haven't done it myself, but I've heard that when you need to get through the nail to let out blood (or other liquid) build-up, you can heat up a unwound paper clip and just press the hot end of the paper clip to burn a small hole through the nail. You might want to Google that to see if it's just bullshit, but it sounds better to me than trying to use a needle or something sharp and having to estimate exactly how much pressure to use.
I hope the weekend gets better, seƱor.
when I broke my thumb
the doctor used a hot needle, I did not enjoy it, but it was worth it
but takeing the nail as short as possible my help with the throbbing.
{{vw}} and you have just proven that ranting , bitching and moaning here might even help people find a solution.
Beth, I am going to chose to believe that never, ever, happened.
Hec, just think in under 2 hours this day will be done.
Does anyone know if I do my taxes on Turbo Tax can I do them say, now and then go back to my account and print what I had done later? Or is it just gone?
Emmett's fingernail is only bruised about halfway up through the nail. Looks like he mashed himself with an errant hammer. It's throbbing still, but I don't think he'll lose the nail, or will require hot needles or exacto knives. (He won't even let me pull out a splinter, so at-home surgery is probably out of the question.)
I'm hoping it's more scare than damage.
