Epic sweeping passions seem to do more harm than good.
Must remember that just 'cuz it's capitalized, it's not necessarily addressing me.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Eugene = South of Cassland.Really not incredibly far either. Cool.
So I saved the kitty who has been howling outside my door. When I went to talk to the property manager about her, she recognized it as a lost cat. Whose newly adopted owners moved to IDAHO. On Sunday. But a friend of theirs came an hour later to collect and care for the cat, which I had caught and brought to the office. Happy ending. And the property manager loved playing with little Espy, who was really darling when not making my ears bleed.
the overwhelming lightning bolt of desire and This Is The One. I always wanted that.
The feeling is amazing, but it often ends up imploding in really spectacular fashion with a lot of collatoral damage.
Like the forest fire metaphor!
Big sweeping love didn't work out for me. Silly, sweet love has.
Someone I'm not afraid to look foolish in front of is what I want. And that seems much more silly, sweet love than Doomed To Eternally Wander The Moors love.
t edit And The Boy just called. He said "I feel much better today -- talking *really* helped!" So. Things, such as they are, are good. It seems.
End of bleeding ears good; happy ending, even better.
Hec, though expected, this is of the suck. And as to your choices shoud they call to ask for help, my vote (not that I get one) is:
Either that, or demand a large consulting fee, payable up front.
on the grounds that money and revenge is better than just revenge.
and also the feeling that if we could still love each other after all the shit we'd been throughGod I know this feeling. And maybe it does for some people.
Like the forest fire metaphor!Less Orphaned Bambi but yep.
End of bleeding ears good; happy ending, even better. So good. I am just now realizing how stressed the situation made me. I am just glad it had a happy ending. The Howler has a home now.
I'm so glad to hear that yowly kitty has a home to go to, Cass.
I skipped and skimmed due to an exhaustingly busy day (that went well into the evening), but wanted to add my two cents about Hec's ex-employers. THEY SUCK and we all HATESES THEM!! Hoping Hec and JZ are having a lovely evening together.
There's much better employers out there, Hec. You'll find 'em.
I'm glad the wailing kitty is safe now, Cass. You done a very good deed, indeed.
Steph, YAY YAY YAY for Good Things happening with The Boy.
