Lorne: Back in Pylea they used to call me "sweet potato." Connor: Really. Lorne: Yeah, well, the exact translation was "fragrant tuber" but…

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Since both of you are here, when I buy a corset, I go by my waist size, not my bust size, right?

For a serious, good corset. Not the cheap-o ones.

You go by waist, and subtract about 4" to arrive at your corset size.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

SJ, if a therapist can't be there for you, he's no therapist.

Yeah, that is what I am thinking. He does know me very well, and I hate the thought of starting over again. Maybe I will wait until I figure out where we are going to move to.

Ok, I am a 35" waist right now. Minus 4" is 31". Should I buy the 30" or the 32"?

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Jilli, you aren't, because you'd also probably have to make sewing alterations to allow for your bustline, and at that price, buy the fabric and make someone sew it for you.

Good point. Besides, I'm saving up for this jacket: [link]

Yes, this.

Buy the 30" waist one, Aimee.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

You go by waist, and subtract about 4" to arrive at your corset size.

When I was fitted at Trashy Diva, I ended up about 6" less than my natural waist. (And it was a very comfortable fit -- I can't even tell you how much I wish I'd bought it right there on the spot.)
