I scored 100% on the signing test at work.
Very cool, WindSparrow! Go you!
And I love that picture of Casper watching the Pixar shorts. She looks so serious.
Nodding along with vw. Very much this.
I have to wear a button-down shirt, because I won't be able to get anything over my head. I don't know that I have four days' worth of button-down shirts!
Honey, if you're hiding out inside the entire time, you only really need one or two button-down shirts. (Good to "see" you!)
The big news is that my temp to perm job officially goes permanent this coming Monday.
Oh! Congratulations, Anne! That's great news.
From treatments, my hair started to go, so I had it buzzed down really short (surprisingly untraumatic, I'm happy to report), and today I'm wearing a scarf in what I think is a stylishly piratey manner. And I've got these gold half moon/hoop earrings on to add to the effect.
First, I'm very glad it wasn't traumatic for you. That's what's important. Second, we may need at least one picture of this. Seriously. (Of course, not if you're not up for it.) Arrrghhh!
Jen, what a great attitude to have. Go you and your piratey self.
Yay, Anne!

Arrrrgh!!! How are you feeling? How long will your course of treatments be?
Our little friend who has Leukemia is bald now, too. Her dad buzzed off the remaining hair, because it was annoying her, and then he and all his friends buzzed their heads, too. She wanted a pink wig, or a red one, but her mom talked her down to her natural hair color (dark brown), but did let her get curls.

Argh! is right! And you do have a great attitude. How have you been feeling?

Awww...how sweet!
I, on the other hand, am a stupid idiot. I have an appointment with my PCP today, and I grilled in my head that it was at 1:45. But, since I couldn't find it written down anywhere, I decided to call to make sure. It's actually at 2:30pm. Now, you'd think, no big deal, except, I have another doctor's appointment in a different building, eight blocks away, at 3pm. Now I don't know what to do.
Call the doctor you're supposed to see at 3:00 and explain the mix up, and ask if they can take you as soon as you get out of the 2:30 one?
What Cindy said. Also, you could try showing up a little early for the 2:30 one in case they can take you in earlier.

Yeah. That's what I'll have to do.

I probably will, but this particular doctors' office NEVER runs early. They're usually running very late, which is no good.
I don't know why I scheduled the appointment at 2:30. I have a standing therapy appointment at 3pm. What was I thinking?

I think you get a pass on confusing appointment times this week.
Arrrrrrrr, Jen. Tis nice t'be seeing yer fonts, matey.
Gronklies.
Anne, woo-hoo on permanentness!
Congratulations Anne!
I have been a PMeSs these past two days. I just want to a) bite off the heads of those that dare to annoy me or b) crawl under my desk and cry. I really hope this passes soon...
