Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I have to finish my taxes which are not self-employed complicated, but still kinda tricky with itemizing, a huge Schedule D, and two State returns.
Also, the IRS has sent a letter say I owe a whole bunch of money from my 2004 taxes which is a pain. It's perfectly clear that we don't owe the money (if anything I paid too much taxes upon review), but it's complex enough that it could be a pain to work everything out.
I was hoping this would be a smooth month finanically, but our vacuum cleaner and dryer both broke down this month (not to mention buying the parts to fix the mower now that the grass is growing) so those additional expenses kinda threw things off. Maybe next month.
they'll keep whatever money you gave them. Just apologize and expect not to see the security deposit. You did what you could, I doubt they will sue you or anything. (though, I could be wrong). I would just approach it from a very matter of fact point of view, i.e., got a job far away, will be moving on whatever date.
I may not know what I'm talking about, but I think they basically have fear and not much action to back up the lease thing.
Best wishes to AnotherAlaskan and health ~ma to Jess's DH.
sj,what Nora said. Try to relax... have some tea.
Morning, all. I'm running on fumes. I probably slept about 45 minutes last night and already my fingers have sporadically stopped obeying me. I was just pouring a soda over ice and the can just fell out of my hand. Oddest thing.
So, typical Monday.
Nicole! Why so little sleep? Are you OK?
And, yes, ~ma to E and to AnotherAlaskan.
What's pondu?
{{{Nicole}}} I thought I told you to sleep well last night. Much ~ma in getting through the day. I am having my cup of tea.
The inspector people just came and left. They said they were verifying that each apartment is exactly the same. Sounds like they're selling it to me.
What's pondu?
Stopped fondue.
sj, I think you are probably right about that.
I found it. For those who are interested, pondu is a dish of cassava leaves, tilapia fish, onion and eggplant, seasoned with red palm oil.
It is one of the options at the cafeteria today. I think I will go for the Rendang Beef with Deep Fried Onions instead though.
{{{{Nicole}}}} and extra apartment~ma to sj.
Even though I slept last night, I'm ready for a nap. Instead I have work, K-Bug drive test, b-day dinner, then off to the airport to head to Boise. I won't see a pillow until midnight at the earliest.
I know I asked before, but do we have any Boise-Buffistas?
Nora! Everything seems to be okay, I just get extra-klutzy when I'm tired. It's become quite the fun little habit for the sleep fairies to pass me by on Sunday nights.
I thought I told you to sleep well last night.
You DID! And yet... it didn't work. What about you? Did you get much sleep?
Huh. Sounds like Nora has the cool cafeteria. I have a Food Simulation Lab and the safest things to eat are pre-packaged. Or maybe a grilled cheese.
Safe trip ~ma to you, MG! I'm glad you're able to spend most of K-Bug's birthday with her. I'm sure it means a lot to her.
