Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Pretty hair. Foamy Zenkitty.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Nice hair, Zenkitty!

Zenkitty, that's a fabulous haircut!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Zenkitty, that's fantastic! The color is so rich.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Thanks! It's a little too bright on the top - thanks to the gray - but we'll fix that next time. I love it!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Love the hair, zenkitty. Is very frabjous.

Callooh, callay, I chortle in my joy.

Frabjous is such a great word.

Zenkitty, great pics and great hair!

Had a really delicious and obscenely healthy dinner. Tom grilled a whole Mediterranean Sea bass on the grill, just with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper on it. Came out SO DELICIOUS. The fish was just creamy and delicately flavored and rich and YUM. I cooked up some red chard with garlic and shallot, red pepper flakes, balsamic vinegar, and pine nuts.

I just love it when a healthy meal tastes so DAMN good.

Nora, you're making my mouth water. I'm starting to think you, Tom and Deb should have a cook-off at the F2F.

We'd lose. BUT, we will be incredibly appreciative and voracious eaters!

(ETA: Jessica would also outcook the holy hell out of us)

It's funny, we approach cooking in different ways. Tom tends to look up recipies, measure stuff out, and apply a given technique very carefully. Which is why he is also an excellent baker. Me, I sort of do some of this... maybe a bit of... that.
