Hi Deena!
ETA Content:
What do people think of this slipcover?
Spike ,'The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Hey Nora!
I like the stretch, the way it looks, and think it would look like ass after 3 days in my house. It's very pretty.
Yeah, I'm concerned about the light color too- but it is machine washable. We have no Toddlers of Destruction, though, just general messiness. There's an "antique" color that might work too, and it's a bit darker and dirt-colored.

Nora, both are pretty. I couldn't keep either of them clean for very long, but I am not a neat person.
Nora, I like those slipcovers. I have last year's model, and they never look that nice on my sofa & loveseat, but they do protect against the sun and general messiness from snacking while sitting. I take them off when we have company. To machine wash you need something bigger than the standard household machine.
Nora, have you looked at the Surefit [link] website? I got my couch slipcover directly from them.
Not taking into consideration the messy factor, I love that second one.
no stiches needed. and I managed to the dishes. I must shower.
dinner is mac and cheese -but it has ham, broccoli, and spinach. and the cheese sauce has three of four chesses. I like to sprinkle diced tomato on top. plus there will be salald. and tj's peach strudal for dessert.
and the public rooms are neat and pretty clean. so I feel all set.
I had a sure fit denim cover for our chair and a half. It took dye fairly well when I needed to turn it green
I've loved our SureFit slipcovers, but I also love the Target brand waffle weave slipcovers. AND much cheaper.
We have the red ones.
