What'd you all order a dead guy for?

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Okay, it was fun to contemplate but I'm taking a sick day tomorrow and that's it.
It's like ripping a band-aid off, just get it over with and start to move on. With added paper ream bonuses. I feel just awful that you are having to go through this, Hec.

I fell asleep on the couch for a bit, crawled into bed and was suddenly awake again. Grrr. Back on the couch watching something on freemasons. This not having a tv in my room might be a good thing on the whole, but there are times I wish I had it anyway.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Cass! I'm working back late tonight, and the freemasons are far from my mind. Are you still feeling secure in the warm embrace of Portland?

Aww. I guess I've lost out to the Freemasons for Cass' attention. They shall join Farsi, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, and the Girl Scouts of America on my list of nemeses! I can see this conversation in my future:

Me: "Sorry babe, I can't talk now. I have to plot revenge against my nemeses!"
Wallybee: "...Did you just call me babe? Have you been drinking?"

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It's like ripping a band-aid off, just get it over with and start to move on.

You know, honestly, I'm fine with sticking it to the man, but there was just too much skulking involved in this plan for my taste. I'd rather walk out than be cornered.

I feel just awful that you are having to go through this, Hec.

Thanks, Cass. It's weird how I really have no idea what reason they'll cite for their decision.

Hey billytea! Look at all the loverama you've started.

You didn't lose me to the freemasons so much as Kittenish jumped into my lap and was purring. I was powerless. I was skimming through the last few week's posts because I could reach the mouse and not the keyboard.

Portland is still good. I made the mistake of watching the news last night and found out the the two main causes of air pollution here are cars and wood-burning fireplaces. Now I feel all guilty. Not guilty enough to not have fires, but still some guilt.

I should find a camera and take pictures of this place. It's kinda cute if I do say so myself.

Well, I can't start plotting vengeance against purring cats, can I? What sort of monster do you think I am?

No, it's Freemasons that shall be feeling the brunt of my wrath.

Makes sense to me.

I'm guessing "hired someone new" will not be said so much as implied with an anvil. Been there, done that, still bitter.

I think it is (wait for it) raining. I hear a noise that I can't identify. Might be rain on the chimney.

As well they should. All of that liberty, justice and the pursuit of happiness shit...

My zoo and Wild Animal Park membership expires in a week. I am saddened by this.

You're not the only one.

Not to mention putting them Catholics in their place. Or was that the other way round? Damn, how am I supposed to keep up with all the theories?

Hey billytea! Look at all the loverama you've started.

I know! I have a girlfriend! Erin has a boyfriend! Steph has a bumfriend! It's a beautiful world we live in / A sweet, romantic place...

My iPod is playing me a tune called Hired Goons. There's a beautiful sunset ouside my office window. Of course, I'm still in said office at 7:30 on a Friday evening, but I'm coping.
