Lorne: Snakes? Uh-huh. And they came out of your what? Okay. Okay, well, did they get up there themselves or is this part of a, you know, a thing? No, I'm not judging...Do we fight snakes? Angel: Only if they're giant. Or demons. Or giant demons. Are they giant demon snakes? Lorne: Well, unless this guy's 30 feet tall, I'm thinking they're of the garden variety.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Trust my rage

I found out over the weekend that my friend's 19 year old daughter got engaged. I'm in shock - not because she's "too young" or something like that, but because in my mind, she is still 12.

Gris, I'm sorry to hear about the break-up.

bt, I hope you get to see your penguin again.

We have some ducks that live inthe creek near our house and I see them most mornings. It's a threesome - 2 males and one female. The female has now left the males (although I guess she could be sitting on a nest somehwere), so most mornings I just see the two males swimming around in the creek alone. Maybe I have gay ducks?

I'm sorry, Gris.

Man, I wish I had the wherewithal to get a degree in horticulture.

Have you thought about becoming a Master Gardener, Spidra? That takes a fair amount of time, but little money.

I'm in shock - not because she's "too young" or something like that, but because in my mind, she is still 12.

My college roommate came through here last week, looking at colleges with her daughter, who, in my head, cannot possibly be old enough to be a junior in high school. I'm suspecting a time warp.

Always Anti-fascist!

I understand, Andi. Though it is sometimes hard for me to accept that some people are not entertained by horse's heads in people's beds, I've come to understand that my thing about The Thing is hardly universal, for instance...nor is the thing where I like to sit around on Sunday nights and watch people catch murders and buy drugs, although Corwood has that one, too. "Nothing happens!" "I know! Isn't it cool?"

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Good suggestion, Ginger. I looked into it a bit and there's a lot of competition to enter that program. I need to get a bit more practical experience under my belt before they'd consider me to be enough of an asset to be worth training. But it's good you reminded me. I need to look at their page and see if there are any events coming up.

I've thought about becoming a Master Gardener myself, but right now my own yard is a disaster area. I need to take a machete to the back "yard" before I think of taking on anything else.

I'm getting the pig!

Job ~ma to Hec!

I love horror movies but I don't force people to sit through them with me. Mostly because I like to watch them alone or with other horror movie buffs. It's not as much fun, otherwise.

ION ~ I'm very happy. It looks like I won't be serving anyone in the office Basketball Servitude Pool after all. Pretty Boy's team beat my team on Saturday night and now he's the one in the apron. Or collar, if I get my way...

Gris, I'm sorry to hear about you and Gerswin Girl.

Feel better, Anne.

Have a great day, vw!

Nicole, I can't imagine any of my coworkers in a collar.

My husband is probably going to resign today. Hard decisions about what to cut from the budget, here we come!

I can't imagine any of my coworkers in a collar.

Pretty Boy and I... we have a bit of a history outside of the office so he's not just a co-worker. I've imagined him in eyeliner and all kinds of outfits so a collar isn't that big of a stretch. Not that I'd really do that at work...

Best wishes to both you and your DH, Sparky. I hope everything works out as well as it possibly can.

Hey. New board.

I'm in my new student-teaching classroom. 6th graders. Much nicer facilities than my high school, so I have a network connection for my laptop - yay!

My new cooperating teacher is a bit of a bitch - she complains about her students a lot. To me. She's okay to them.
