Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Doesn't anyone want to entertain me? I'm beating myself over the head with my philosophy of education again, and it's not fun.

Crap. What's the adverbial form of "tactile"?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

What's the adverbial form of "tactile"?

Um, workaround? "In a tactile fashion"? "As a tactile sensation"?

"Tactilely," apparently. But it's okay, because I'd already lost patience and deleted the whole thing.

The status is NOT quo.

Yay for mutual Wallybee falling!

Hello all. My aunt and 14-year-old cousin were visiting the past few days. We had a simply lovely visit and a lot of fun (we wore hot pink tiaras most of the trip), and it was sad to see them go this morning.

I won't lie, though--I'm really looking forward to curling back up in bed and having a nice nap.

Always Anti-fascist!

Hec, hang in there. Billytea, I may have to be embarrassing and say "How could she not?" vw, I admire your work ethic but I also think it's nuts. But I guess it's people like you that keep the world running while we complain, so go you.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Plei, Steph and I were looking at those pictures of Lilly and HOLY MOTHER she is the cutest girl-baby ever. My god, her eyes, her wee little face, her *everything*!

Mostly lurking...

Taxes are done. Lovely brunch was had. Now I'm sleepy. But, I need to do laundry.

vw, that's why I like good weekends. Right now all I'm thinking about is when I have to eat next.

(I'm not thinking about laundry, because I've staved off this arduous task by buying more bras and underwear. I have no less than 10 weeks worth of laundry mountaining up in a corner of my room, and I refuse to do it until I absolutely have to.)

PS: Did a big friending of lj/buffistas, as Steph clued me in on a bunch of names I did not know. So that is me.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

cleaned hairbrushes - and raked the lawn ( oddly similar type projects)

finally admited we had to get an eletric lawnmower sooner rather than later. bought lawnmower, used lawn mower. allergy/asthma attack.

my goal is to someday have a yard that needs no mowing.
