So, is mine (temporary, that is), I hope.
And you're right. You do have a beautiful little benefit there.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
So, is mine (temporary, that is), I hope.
And you're right. You do have a beautiful little benefit there.
I am so unorganized right now. I can't find the tax documentation for donating my car. And they've sent it to me twice. It should be here *somewhere*. Ugh.
Oooh, wallybee fallage-for. Lovely.
Did I say? Lilybean's photo should be beside the definition of "cute" in the dictionary. She doesn't take a bad photo, does she? Ador-A-ble.
Cash, that bloomers site set off my restorer-costumer's twich. I know it's modern stuff amended from "antique" styles for modern folk. But it's still wrong, wrong, wrong! Women's underpants usually had a split crotch. I mean, if you hadda go, and you were wearing a non-bendy corset on top of five petticoats, a hoopskirt, and a dress skirt with five or more yards of fabric, getting to your underpants waistband would be rather a chore. Not to mention that women wearing underpants under all that petticoatery was considered scandalous and risque.
And the designer at that site called tucks "folds"! Auggghh! Not only are there no pintucks for decoration on the camisoles, nor ribbon-threaded beading, the allowance-for-lengthening tucks are miscast as decoration.
Okay, when I made petticoats for people, I sewed them on a machine, and used pre-ruffled eyelet for the bottom flounce. But there were tucks, *and* pintucks, and eyelet beading I threaded myself with the giftee's color preference of satin ribbon. And they had dropped yokes and insertion and the seams were covered and top-stitched and they matched where they met.
Gathered, lumpy, machine-made lace, faugh! Uncomfortable. Still, I suppose I should be glad what skills do linger are making stuff for contemporary use. But..."folds." Faugh!
Yay for sleep. I slept well too. Only about 6-7 hours, but it was good stuff.
And I finished cleaning the 13000+ rows of data this morning. Now for the house cleaning part. Ugh.
t mommy mode Now Ms. Bug. I know you are going to be thinking there are things you need to do, but I insist you take it easy! Your father is coming today, yes? He would much rather see a relaxed daughter than see you ill because you tried to do too much. Or ya know, Relax don't do it When you want to go to it, Relax don't do it. t /mommy mode
Phew! Found it. Of course, it was right in front of my nose...next to the computer, where I put the "URGENT! NEED TO TAKE CARE OF THIS NOW!" mail. Shows how well I take care of the urgent mail.
Bev, you had me at "crotchless bloomers."
Oooh, wallybee fallage-for. Lovely.
Yes, this. Fall is a good time for fallage. IJS
I had jumped right to store special and saw the crotch split bloomers. [link] Only sense making of course.
You do have a beautiful little benefit there.
Two beautiful benefits. Are there any new pictures of either of them (or preferably both)?
Lillian is indeed unearthly beautiful.
vw, I'm all agog at you actually getting your taxes taken care of today, after the week you've had. I have no possible excuse for not getting ours done, yet there they sit nevertheless, all not-done.
For the first time evah I did my personal taxes in January (refund) and sent my corporate returns in March 15 (accountant did those but I got them ready). Every year in the past I have extended and extended again. It is lovely to have them behind me. t /preens
I think I should reward myself with a trip to SF in May. Oh yeah, I am!!
