Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Ugh, I just got the "you're smothering me" speech. What's so wrong with "you're pretty"?

::sigh:: It seems like most of my relationships start out this way. I really need to work on slowing down and feigning indifference at the same time being interested in her.

Women are strange beasties.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Very cute, Nicole.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I would have named her Victoria. And called her Tori of course.

I've got a step-cousin with that name. Er, had. She now goes by Ma'ikwe. Yeah, think I would have stuck with the Tori, myself.

Our wings are not tired.

Thanks for the happies people. Clearly we are old fuddy duddy married couple. He's already asleep and I'm catching up on line. We did go out to lunch! He was up at 5 and I was up at 6. I'm taping Doctor Who because I have little chance of staying awake.

A scary number of times I have seen infants in car seats in running cars while the parent runs into the 7-11 to pick up something. There's always a better plan than that. I ran around with the kids so much I didn't think much about getting them in and out of the car awake or asleep bunches of times a day. I did leave the boys asleep in the car when in my driveway.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

not being indifferent- but more willing to go with the flow , Eddie. there is nothing wrong with you're pretty - but when and where were things when you said that? BTW, I hate being smothered. and yet , somehow I ended up with a DH that is extreamly attentive and wants to know where I am and what i am doing - just 'cause he cares. Life is strange.

happy day laura. - The best thing about being an old fuddy- duddy married person is that fact that lunch counts.

Well, yeah, and men too. The whole being able to read the other person's mind thing takes time.

Uh, first week into the relationship... too soon, huh? but she is pretty...

being able to read the other person's mind

I'm no good at this and frankly I hate it. I'd much rather have her call me a shithead rather than tell me things are "fine" and expect me to ESP the rest.

I'll figure it out one of these days. We're still seeing each other, so that's good, I'll just have to repeat "you're not pretty, you're not pretty..." over and over in my head when I'm talking to her.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I know it is from way back, but that link to the chainmail skirt reminded me of a friend who makes chainmail jewelry. She also made a chainmail bra (about halfway down the page). And yes, the hand below the bra is mine.
