brenda, thank you. I was getting very nervous.
I'm a total Euromutt.
I love this phrase! Can I steal it and use if for myself? I do have some Irish and I am wearing green. No pinches for me.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I just got off the phone with vw, she's going to take a nap before she goes to the doctor. I wish I could be there for her physically.
t wrings hands impotently from wrong coast to be helpful
Russian, German, Italian and English. That I know about.
My great-great-grandparents were Irish, giving my mother an Irish last name and an predilection for wearing tacky St. Patrick's Day pins, socks, hats and the like. My great-grandparents on my father's side were Bohemian (now part of the Czech Republic). The rest are English, English, English, with one possible French Huguenot.
My family is Scottish, English, German, a smidge of Huguenot, a bunch of stuff I don't know since one great grandmother never talked about her first husband (grandfather's dad) and Comanche.
Because of my aunt's extensive research I know more aboutthe Comanche parts of the family than almost any other part.
Thanks, Brenda. I have her number and I'm happy to check in with her later. I just don't want to overwhelm her with phone calls or interrupt her sleep.
Just all kinds of ~ma on the way to vw's household. It's fucking bs that some very wonderful people get hit with so very much of the ick. And meanwhile, the evil overlords of the world have great health and fortune. Fucking bs.
Thanks, Brenda.
Vibes for vw.
Aimee, if you're going with that story, you should at least be wearing orange.
I'm glad we've got a b.org check-in team for those who need it. Thanks for the update, Brenda.
Ancestory. My sister and I got my dad the genome kit from National Geographic for Christmas. [link] I just checked out his results today. Dad's Y-chromosomal ancestors make this huge backwards facing "C" on the way out of Africa, going through the Middle East, India, over the Himalayas, through the Eastern Russian steppes, and on into Finland. Which, at least on that part of the family tree, makes me really, really non-Irish.
But I still look good in green.
Anyway, my background is Finnish (with possibly some Saami and Russian in there), English, Dutch, French, and German.
Thanks for the update, brenda. Could you email me her number?
