Kind of looking forward to tonight, in a sickly fascinated way. Glad I have a box seat to retreat to if need be.
What are you doing tonight that has box seats, Juliana?
Have any of the Chicago-istas been down to see the green river?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

she's going to auction me off later today.
How rude. Tell her how horribly insulted you are and demand that she split the proceeds 60-40 in your favor.
vw, I think the Bursar's office is out celebrating already.
I have a green fleece on, but it was an accident. I'd forgotten it was St. Pat's.
It's always some flavor of green - I can't even tell the difference this year. I think it was more noticable last year.

Same thing we do every night, Pinky....
No, wait. Just living in North Beach, with the eleventy-billion yuppies and frat boys that swarm in every weekend. Given that there are two Irish bars less than 3 blocks from me, we're expecting a bit of overflow in addition to the usual Stupid Drunk Tricks. So, a few of us are going to make the rounds early and then retreat up to my place to watch and snark. Bets are being taken on when the neighborhood gets shut down by the cops.
Yes, your appartment is the perfect box seat for such viewing.
K-Bug is supposed to have a softball game this afternoon, a make-up for the rained out game that she would have missed during our vacation.
Meanwhile, my mom is planning a traditional St. Pat's dinner. She keeps pushing herself too much. I don't know how to get her to chill. They are now thinking she might have blood clots in her lungs. (!!!!!!!!) She is going in for more detailed testing next week. Blarg.
Everyone keeps asking me about my green.
I'm an Irish Protestant. I don't do St. Patrick's Day.
Ok, I also just plain forgot, but I'ma stick with my Protestant story.
Aimee, you're a goof.
Sending your mom learn-to-chill vibes, MG. Blood clots in the lungs sound scary.
We had our corned beef and cabbage last week, and DH doesn't want to get more and have another 4 days of leftovers. The bok choy in the stir fry will have to do for greenness, I guess.
After one VERY hard pinch, a few co-workers helped me find some green. I now have a green candy wrapper taped to my shirt and a green plant leaf stuck into my ponytail.
Juliana, that sounds like the beginnings of a fabulous tradition!
There are days that green eyes are very helpful. They have gotten me out of a pinch in the past.
