my continued helplessness at her mental problems continues
You're not a mental health professional, Nora. Feeling horrible about your friend's pain is one thing, but feeling responsible for not fixing things is just a world of trouble. It's perfectly natural to be helpless right now. Painful, but natural. So don't blame yourself.

I know. I am working very hard to keep that in mind. Things have just been so hard between her and I over the past, hm, nine months or so? (since we bought the house) And she's pushed me away, and I let myself be pushed, because she has been very difficult and draining to be with/talk to.
Anyway. I just feel really sick, in my lungs and in my heart.
I think some of you need to come visit me, bringing your Mr. Clean Magick Erasers AND your Scrubbing Bubbles.
I could bring Leif first to help make things extra messy.
As a tip, when a three year old runs up to you, holds up a finger, and says "Smell my finger!", this is never a good thing.

Just talked to my PCP. She raised the steroid dose. Again. And I'm only allowed out of the house for doctor's appointments today.

{{{{{{{{{{{Nora}}}}}}}}}}} Feel better.
I am off to fail two exams today. Which is totally my fault because I didn't study enough for them. Between depression and sickness this semester, my motivation and energy ran away together. I hope they're someplace warm.
I was thinking the same thing Nicole.
K-Bug has her first softball game today. They haven't split the team into varsity/jv yet and everyone (all 19 girls) are going today. It will be interesting to see who gets playtime during the scrimmage.
Oh, God, you need those...this week?!
I'm sorry...they're very good. I hardly noticed the time passing.
Oops.
(crams energy and motivation in sloppy Fed Ex box)
I hurt my brain. I've got a note...
