I just think you're freakin' out 'cause you have to fight someone prettier than you.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Andi, I meant to comment before, what a huge thing for your mom. I'm sure there are rocky waters ahead, but good on her for something that must have been incredibly difficult.

Much happier-new-life~ma to your mother, WindSparrow.

Thanks! I'm hoping she'll be happy without having a man. Unfortunately I felt at the time she took up with this guy that to a certain extent she was wanting a man, any man, because of the deep-seated, illogical, toxic shame of not having one. I hope either she will learn the lesson of being complete in herself before entering into a new relationship, or she simply will not find an unhealthy relationship to stumble into.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

You should be fine to start it. I'm often still bleeding a bit when I insert. The application of hormones in the Ring stops that right quick though. If the yeast infection yuckiness continues, I'd ask the doctor just to be safe, but I think you'd be OK.

I never ever notice it once the take out/put in week is done. Short periods. Awesome.

Nice. That's what I'm hoping for. My periods are currently seven days. We're gonna try to get that down to three. I'm like, "You can do that?" She's like, "You know what else we can do? We can make it so you only get your periods four times a year!" I was like, "NO WAY!" She's like, "Baby steps."

it can happen. Give it a couple months so your body gets with the program, but I remember after a while, being like NO WAY! Start on Wed/Thurs, end on Sat? AWESOME.

Well, I've got it in the fridge so I can start (I didn't realize it needed to be refrigerated. That was weird. I stuck it way in the back so Not!Emily doesn't find it).

well, I keep it in the fridge just in case, and to be better safe than sorry, but the hormones don't actually start to degrade until it's exposed to 80-85 degrees F.

Mine are generally right near the condiments. I need to see it, otherwise I might forget about them!

Hee!

ETA: I think I must still be pretty tired. My painkiller is really knocking me out. I can barely keep my eyes open. I was going to try to make it till 10am to take a nap, but I might not make it.

Where'd everyone go? I need entertainment!

Fine! I'll go take a nap.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Hey, vw. I'm pondering working. Pondering other things, too, but the working is what I should be doing.

Well, get to work, DebetEsse!

Jeez. I can't type. I had to retype that sentence like five times. Maybe I really should go take that nap.
