'Safe'

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

"If you've been going out for three months, and you haven't met any of his friends, you are not his girlfriend."

Huh. That explains why things ended with Sh.

It is almost midnight and I cannot sleep. This was an opportunity! for me to sleep at like 9.30! and it's just not working! no fair!

So my question is, just how scrubbable is clear laquer?

Hubby is grateful you asked, because when I asked him, he said, "Did I say laquer? I meant urethane." Urethane would not take much with cleaning and, according to Hubby, "Urethane is what they put on roller rink floors, and laquer is generally put on dining room tables." Soft-Scrub should have no problem with either.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

We could apply the Chris Rock test. Has he met any of your friends?

Hmmm. Well, by accident, he's met two. (like, they came down to my apartment to borrow something.) I've met one of his friends -- he manages a bar we've gone to.

Whenever I've mentioned going to a party where my friends are, he kinda looks green. I can kinda understand the looking green thing, but if he refuses to ever meet my friends, I don't think it'll work.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

I think there are spots on my walls that seem lighter now that I Magicked them. This paint is all very very old. And apparently very dirty. I really am not cleaning them *all* so I will just have to be wary of my spot cleaning and not clean too deep.

I was going to mention that, and forgot. So I'll just nod my head and agree. The Majikal Mystery Mr. Clean Eraser Of POWER does have the ability to take paint off walls/doors. As I learned the first time I used one.

It is almost midnight and I cannot sleep. This was an opportunity! for me to sleep at like 9.30! and it's just not working! no fair!

Gah, me too. But I just took an Ambien, and so I should be asleep in about 10 minutes. Yay drugs.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It's not taking the paint off so much as really, really cleaning it and in an old house... I just didn't know the paint was really that color.

Not that I am surprised it can take off paint.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

It's a good test to prove that you aren't "the girlfriend," but I think you can have been going out that long, have met friends and still not be. Perhaps I'm projecting.

This is no time for your syllogistic logic! What's next, joining a gang? (If you've been in his gang for three months, and you haven't met--)

Interesting mail today. Buffistas Cookbook! Yay! And notice that my divorce is now final. Yay?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

My kitchen is clean clean CLEAN.

And now I am off to Bubble Bath Land.

Tomorrow is Closet Purge and Main Room Purge and possibly Main Room Scrub.

I hope you're all as excited as I am.

I would give you a gentle hug if you were here, billytea. That final bit felt so very final to me.

Is the cookbook supershiny?

Is the cookbook supershiny?

It is! It has food-related BRQG quotes. Oh, and recipes.
