I'm so evil and... skanky. And I think I'm kinda gay.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Any moing dates set yet?
Nope. I need a for sure okay from the rental place and to maybe figure out some family things. March 6 - 17 th, sometime in there.

I am about to break out the Magic Eraser.

I also purchased food to see me through this massive cleaning task ahead of me.

Including the makings for some of my paternal grandma's favorites: chopped chicken livers and potato pancakes. The foods that growing up made me wonder if there was any Jewish lineage (we didn't really have a religion growing up and it never occurred to me that I could actually just ask) til I realized the cream in the livers and the bacon served with the pancakes made that a tad unlikely. And delicious. Did I mention the delicious?

Turns out that there was Christian Scientist on that side and a whole lot of Catholic on the other. So much for my ideas of a Nana.

I also picked up some chips and salsa and some gorgeous wee asparagus. My food is as split personality as my heritage.

I was disappointed myself -- but then they showed the clip and it makes the noooooooooooooooooise vroooooooooooooooooooooooooooommmmmmm
If it just goes in a straight line? It's not as interesting to me. Also I prefer four wheels. So cycles and drag racing are out.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Ugh, I think I am getting a cold. My throat hurts and I have that stuffy head thing.

I really hope not. Bleargh.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

When you're the fifth kid, you learn pretty quickly that comparison is fruitless.

Hee. I'm the middle of five. Maybe you just have to be one of a passel of kids and that lesson gets learned early.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

It's interestng to see how everyone defines success. When I was younger, moving out of my parents house and staying out meant success to me. Imagine my surprise when I found myself moving back in when I was 45. Then, I found myself moving in with my daughter. We do what we have to do to take care of ourselves; sometimes that means doing it all on our own, sometimes it means asking for help. Asking for help doesn't indicate lack of success, it indicates that you're smart enough to know your limitations.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

This better, Cassie -- Geoff Bodine in a bobsled?

Really? I mean, love the old coot but damn bobsleding could, at the least, leave a mark at his age.

Okay the Magic Erasers are pretty cool. Though I bought eight and I don't think that will be enough. They tear up pretty quick. Also tore up my hands. I am taking a moisturizing break.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Does the Magic Eraser work on grout in the bath & shower? Or is there a better product to use?

(I can't believe I just asked that question.)

I'll let you know in a bit, Jilli. It's the next thing I am attacking with a new one.

I am so wishing I had bought gloves. Must go see if I have any squirreled away.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Cass! I got your postcard. I am going to try to get yours out tomorrow, or maybe the next day...
